WHAT:
Valley West invites children of all ages for a pre-Halloween celebration at the community’s first annual “Carvin’for a Cause” pumpkin carving contest.
The event will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gallatin County and to help make it possible Valley West is only asking for participants. Come and register at the Valley West sales office the week before Halloween and pick out your free pumpkin. Carve your creative jack-o-lantern at home and return on Sunday, October 28th to face the judges.
For every pumpkin picked – up and registered at Valley West a $10 donation will be made; and while it is not required, if you would also like to make a donation, Valley West will match it.
Prizes will be awarded for Scariest Creation, Funniest Face, Most Montana, Cutest Carving & Best in Show.
Costumes are encouraged and treats will be served.
WHEN:
Registration & pumpkin pick-up: October 21, 12 pm – 4 pm or October 22 – October 26, 12 am - 6 pm
Contest will be held Sunday, October 28
1:30 pm check-in with judging beginning at 2:00pm
WHERE:
Registration & pumpkin pick-up at the Valley West sales office at 25A Clifden Dr.

Competition & awards will be held at Valley West Lakeside Pavillion at Meyers Lake on
Clifden Dr. and Perry St.
WHO:
Open to the general public; everyone is welcome to attend this family-friendly event.
